CERAMICHE REFIN AT CERSAIE 2021: REDISCOVER THE DIFFERENCE

After a long break, Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, will be back in Bologna from September 27th to October 1st.
“For this important edition of the flagship professional trade show in the surface design sector, which marks the relaunch of the entire industry, at Ceramiche Refin we have decided to draw inspiration from the flawless imperfection of nature and art, rediscovering the value of Italy’s historical and artistic tradition, of the exclusive luxury of craftsmanship and of nature in all its power,” says Rino Bedogni, Head of Corporate Marketing & Communication.
The result of this research work are the new collections, which were designed in order to suffuse every architectural and interior design project with emotions. The spotlight will certainly be on the Affrescati, Cortina and River collections, the real stars of the Refin booth.
AFFRESCATI
The AFFRESCATI collection offers an evocative and eclectic interpretation of the history and beauty of wall frescoes, an heritage asset deeply intertwined with Italian culture.
This tradition has been projected into the contemporary world by means of intensely textured surfaces, featuring subtle undulations, trowel marks and an original chromatic layering, with a sophisticated identity creating refined backdrops.
The colours Calce, Ocra, Ombra, Lapis and Terra were inspired by the hues of the naturally dusty and vintage surfaces. Each shade has a powerful expressive strength, capable of embellishing surfaces and settings that can also be very different from each other.
CORTINA
With CORTINA, ancestral wisdom and craftsmanship are reinterpreted to emphasize the authenticity and exclusivity of everyday luxury. The collection features different types of wood with various degrees of ageing, and is the result of a careful and meticulous research aimed at discovering and choosing the most particular staves to offer a completely exclusive product. It is ideal to create warm and welcoming interiors, reproducing the typical charm of mountain chalets, with a design that is both contemporary and sophisticated.
The colours Almond, Honey, Natural and Tobacco enhance the natural richness of the wood coming from the ancient alpine lodges, which inspired the collection.
Each shade differs from the other ones thanks to a specific chromatic palette of hues and nuances that are typical of wooden surfaces.
RIVER
The RIVER collection, on the other hand, stems from the observation of natural phenomena and in particular of the erosive action of water on river stones.
Where the stone emerges, the effect is textured and structured, while when it is submerged the surface appears as smoothed by water and with softer contrasts, with a more delicate and elegant appearance. The River surfaces offer this original effect, creating a dialogue between nature and interior design in a continuous contamination between environments and perceptions, nature and emotions.
