This year, during Clerkenwell Design Week, we will be the protagonists of the Solus showroom spaces with an interactive installation titled “Laboratory,” designed by the Halloway Li studio and inspired by our laboratory and the uniqueness of our creative process.
We are very excited about this project because we strongly believe that sharing the story of our laboratory and the exclusivity of our creative approach is essential to fully understand and appreciate our collections. Our laboratory is our artisan heart. It is the place where all our creations come to life through a process based on continuous research, artisanal experimentation, and photographic technique.
Telling this story is truly a challenge, especially for those who haven’t had the opportunity to visit our production and laboratory.
That’s why we have decided, together with Solus and Holloway Li, to bring a part of this experience to London through “Laboratory,” an installation that embodies the artisanal, innovative, and experimental spirit of our laboratory and transports it to the Clerkenwell showroom.
Using experimental cameras, visitors will be able to explore the microcosm and float through the geometries of spacetime with our iconic collections: Cera, Affrescati, and Foil.
The exhibition will remain open until the end of July, and during the days of Clerkenwell Design Week, the space will be animated with a rich program of events, including workshops, tastings, and talks on photography as an agent of change and experimental design for the future.
